What is MAHA TET (MAHATET)? +
MAHA TET (Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test) is a state-level qualifying exam conducted by MSCE Pune. Paper I is for Classes 1–5 (primary) and Paper II is for Classes 6–8 (upper primary). Passing is mandatory for government and aided school teacher appointments in Maharashtra.

What is the MAHA TET exam pattern? +
Each paper has 150 objective MCQs, 150 marks, duration 2.5 hours, with no negative marking. Sections include Child Development & Pedagogy (30), Language I (30), Language II (30), and subject areas (60). The official exam is offline OMR.
Are mock tests available in Marathi? +
Yes. MAHA TET mock tests are available in both Marathi and English. Set your preferred language in your profile or choose per test.
What are the qualifying marks for MAHA TET? +
General category: 60% (90 out of 150). OBC/SC/ST: 55% (~82–83 out of 150). MSCE decides final cut-offs — always confirm in the official notification.
Can I prepare for both Paper I and Paper II? +

Is MAHA TET certificate valid for how long? +
